DINNER FOR KAMUKAMU

Looking after KamuKamu this weekend, a friends tortoise,...it's almost like being a new parent watching the baby do it's tricks...watching him wander around discovering new corners and hidey holes. Just gave him some tortoise food,...
KamuKamu is sooooo cute,... Messy messy eater, but sooooo cute!

BABYSITTING

This weekend, outside of work commitments, I'm baby sitting (tortoise sitting?) KamuKamu, a friends pet while he and his wife are in Tokyo on business. You'd think it's easy babysitting a tortoise,... However KamuKamu was up at 6:30 am scrabbling all over my wooden floorboards with his sharp claws, and bumping into the furniture with his shell,...then he pooped on the carpet, wee-d on the wood floor, and continues to run (he's a fast little thing) around the house.
Despite this, it's great watching him,...I'm really enjoying having him here...

AUTUMN SKIES

The clouds early today had the same textured ripples as freshly scooped ice-cream...
Later, once the skies had cleared, a couple of jets, ... obviously flying too high,... scratched the sky... now someone's going to have to repaint it!

TODAYS FASHION...

Silver grey suit, studded belt,  white cotton shirt featuring silver embroidery, ring boots with Ray Bans. Without a doubt the only DJ in Nagoya broadcasting rock and pops in a suit....

EARLY BIRD

YAWN!! Up at 5:50 am for a 6:30 breakfast meeting in the city. Once again a picture postcard perfect morning, and so the top went down for the drive across town.... Meeting went well too!

And Beatles figures on display in the PPF toilet... Today on 79.5FM, be listening for a Beatles special, music from the new remastered CD's,...

MIDNIGHT DRIVE

Sept 9. 1am,...Couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate on work either, so I went for a midnight drive around Nagoya city.
It had been a warm autumn day, the night air was still quite pleasant, perfect for popping the roof down and going for a spin alone,...just enjoying the R&R on the i-pod, the mostly open streets and the warm wind.
During the drive, on that 09-09-09 morning, my car's odometer clocked 123,456Km.
Even though there was still a bit of traffic after 1am, the streets were flowing well. It was a great chance to clear the mind of troubles and worries, and get a bit of air at the same time.
