I-PHONE FUN

Got together recently with a friend who is into flying and aircraft, and me being a helicopter freak, things get pretty excited! We were swapping ideas on applications for our i-phones, looking over maps and finding some interesting flight and navigations tools for our phones,...
(His phone has a wooden cover,... Looks good!) Almost forgot to order lunch!

BUSINESS -LIKE

Affixing the company seal on important documents and acting almost grown up at my accountant's office. Japan's tax year is almost up, and PPF has just had it's books checked and readied by our accountant. I meet with the accountant once a month to go over things, but this annual review can be a bit of a shocker,..finding out how much the company made,...where it all went,...and how little is left. At least the company isn't in the red,...yet...

ROCKET

PPF team member Gyoten Kun went to Tanigashima in the south of Japan a few weeks back and returned with this "Rocket Cake" souvenir. Tanigashima is famous for being the place where matchlock guns were first introduced into Japan by Portugese traders, and where JAXA (Japan's NASA) launches it's rockets from... It's the "Houston" of Japan.
Each rocket shaped cake was filled with purple sweet potato jam,... Tastes better than it looks!

2010 FIRST FLIGHT

Sat. Feb 13, ...First flight for the year! It's been a busy start to 2010, but at last a day off to enjoy some flying. Just a short hop today, a 20 minute flight from Hachiya Heliport to Mizunami in Gifu Prefecture with Hashimoto San in his R-44.
Over Mino Kamo, Gifu Prefecture,...
In flight...
We flew to a small steak restaurant near Kamado that has 3 landing spots. Another helicopter was on the main pad, so we put down on the riverbank side and enjoyed a Japanese steak lunch set.
After lunch, it was a short 20 minute flight back to Hachiya Heliport. 40 mins flight time in total today. Looking forward to lots more flight time this year!

VALENTINES DAY 2

In Japan, the girls give Valentines day choccies to the guys! What a wonderful set up! The Pink Panther one was from RADIO-i DJ Sano Eri, and the blue one was from Assistant Director Miya Chan...
From Ai Chan at visual production house G-Factory, I received something different, sesame seed chocolates...
White chocolate with black sesame seed choco... The rich white chocolate is very soft and smooth, rather like raw chocolate and when you bite into it, the sesame seeds "pop" in your mouth... Might have to pop another one.

VALENTINES DAY 2

...From PPF Radio DJ School student, Midori Chan, I got some hand made cookies in an Elmo seal bag...
From another student,...or his mother actually, ...an R2D2 soy sauce bottle...
...And from manager Yuka, some Australian Cadbury Chocolate and Tim Tams...YUM!
Sorry, but it's against the law to have a pack of Tim Tams in the house unopened or half full.
