The sky went dark and it looked like it would rain any minute. It did, quite suddenly, but only for a minute or so, and then it stopped. The fireworks continued to light up the sky!
There were over 20,000 fireworks let off over the course of the festival that lasted from 6:50 to 9pm.
The sound was deafening, and the lights show dazzling!
Most were airborne explosions, however there were some interesting ground based explosions and special effects too. 
As the night wore on, they got bigger and better...
