
....A huge crowd had lined up to see this traditional form of Japanese theatre.

Inside, hanging above the crowd, was this huge folding paper lantern, with the Kabuki group's name written in big black letters...Pity I couldn't get a shot of the entire theatre, decked out like a time slip back to the the 1600's...

What a brilliant show, the sets, the costumes, the special effects, the characters, everything was utterly fantastic! I found it easier to understand than I had first thought, even though it's all performed in Old Japanese, like Shakespeare is performed in Old English. I'm looking forward to the next show already!!
