STRAWBERRIES & SNOW

Went to a strawberry farm in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture last weekend with some friends. The farm has about 6 different types of strawberry growing in row upon row of glasshouses. For ¥1,700 ($17) you can pick and eat as many strawberries as you can in 30 minutes....
30 minutes doesn't sound long, but when they're this big, you get pretty full pretty quickly...
I managed 43 before giving up,..the record is 130 set by some old lady a few months back...
It had been snowing all day, and after a gut full of strawberries,.. I had a snow fight with my friends and their kids...It occurred to me later we should have collected some snow, squashed strawberries on top and made a snow smoothie,... Maybe next time...
...and in the car on the way back, managed to finish off the last of the condensed milk...YUM!
