July 6,...At Nagoya's International Airport, Centerair, for the media launch and press conference for the World Samurai Summit. As one of the producers of the event, I explained my reasons for wanting to create such an event, and what I hope to create in the future. Most of the city's press and electronic media were there, and the event was u-streamed across the world on the internet.
I was joined by members of the Omotenashi Busho Tai, or the Famous Samurai Warrior Team. This team recreate the areas most famous warriors and hold events and appearances daily at Nagoya Castle. They even take on the personas of the characters they are re-creating, going as far as speaking in medieval Japanese,...(which often confuses me) and referring to each other by their character names. With me above, Oda Nobunaga, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, two of the three unifiers of Japan's Civil War period. The guy who plays Ieyasu is a friend from some time back, and the difficult thing is when I talk to him in character, it's different from when he's plain old Gakku Kun! When he's the Shogun Ieyasu,...he's IEYASU!!
This first Samurai Summit takes place on the weekend of July 31 and August 1., and features a Samurai parade, a foreign Samurai team display, and Samurai events. At long, long last, the Samurai are returning to Nagoya!

TV AICHI ....SANJI NO TSUBOI
This is the home page top page for the new TV Aichi programme, Sanji no Tsuboi, weekdays from 3 on channel 25 across Central Japan.... The show commenced this week, with Tsuboi Norio, an AM radio personality as the main cast with TV Aichi's Asai Chisato, and regular features presented by other local personalities...
I'll be hosting a regular history corner, ...My new directors are Yamaguchi and Imai. Both are very friendly and interested in the new programme. I'm looking forward to working with them. The big urn is a pun in Japanese on the main hosts' name, Tsuboi, or "large pot."
With main host, Tsuboi Norio, and his new business card,...I got the very first one out of the box!

SAMURAI SUMMIT
CRASH!!
On the night of Saturday 26th, just entering Sunday morning, I was coming home from a business meeting at a friends new video editing studios. Moments after leaving his house, I stopped at a red light and waited. The lights changed, and checking all was clear, I entered the intersection, then,...CRASH!!!
This car had failed to notice that the lights had changed, and that the left lane car had stopped. He went sailing through and hit me right front side on! His car spun mine 90 degrees to the left and pushed me into the left lane. I hit my head on the driver's side window on impact,..good thing I have a hard head...my manager Yuka hurt her neck. The guy then sat in his car until the police arrived! Good news is that a number of witnesses saw the accident, and waited till the police came. The guy admitted to being at fault,...AFTER all the witnesses turned against him. At first he was asking "It was green right?,...I'm sure it was green"... Everybody told him differently! He's made a written statement to the police claiming full responsibility and thumb printed his statement (done instead of a sign in Japan)
My Rover 216 Cabriolet is slightly banana shaped. A day later, the tow car took it to the garage. The garage staff phoned to see if I was alright, they were shocked at the state of the car.... The other guy's insurance company has offered $2,890 for it,... WHAT??? More later!
