Saturday night I was invited to Scottish friend and fellow Dr. Who fan, Michael, and his wife Sayaka's home for a dinner party. Michael, resplendent in a black t-shirt and brown flame like patterned shorts showed his debonaire side and COOKED DINNER! And you know what? He did a great job too! 4 courses including
sashimi, pumpkin soup, fish cakes and steak...
Dessert was my job, and so a quick trip to the fancy Mitsukoshi Department stores' underground cake and dessert specialty shops helped me score these Giotto brand cakes. 10 hours after arriving we ran out of drinks, so Michael and Sayaka threw me out at 4:30am. Good food, ...good fun, ... good friends. Who could ask for more?!!
