Thursday April 8. At Nagoya Castle today for the filming of a new nationwide TV variety programme on Nippon TV. The first show features "Strange foreigners, who are more Japanese than Japanese people" hence I got called on to show off my Samurai armour and knowledge of Japanese history

This year is Nagoya Castle's 400th anniversary. I had hoped to be able to appear in more events, however my current Radio programme has me doing live shows every Sunday as well as weeknights, so not so many events....still, it's great to be able to don the suit and go for a wander around the castle!!
