During the Battle of Komaki Nagakute one of the Warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi's men set up camp on this knoll just west of the current Nagoya Airport with some 3,000 samurai. This site is pretty much unknown, and not well marked out. I only found it after visiting the old castle site of Oguchi, which I found while researching info on the battle.....
