Beautiful day in Nagoya, 24 degrees with pale blue skies, and the city is mostly quiet as Japan enters it's Golden Week Holiday period. Bought lunch from the local bakery and had it on the grassed area of OASIS 21 in the city centre.
Seen from the air, OASIS 21 is a huge oval dish containing some 15 tonnes of water and suspended over an underground shopping mall and event arena adjoining Central Park.
It's only 200m south of my home, and so on days like today it's a quick walk for some fresh air (?) and sunshine.
