TRIATHLON WORLD CUP, PART 1

Arriving at Ishigaki Jima! The last time I was here was in March 2005 when I flew a helicopter from Melbourne Australia back to Nagoya Japan. (see ff2005.com) We arrived back in Japan landing in Ishigaki Jima for customs quarantine and immigration. We'd been out of Japan for over a month. At this airport I had Japanese curry rice for lunch. The taste of Japanese rice made me feel like I'd finally arrived home! Now, what to do for dinner tonight,...how about curry rice?
Next stop, Ishigaki Jima!

April 25, ANZAC day in Australia, for me it was up early and off to the airport. Flew from Nagoya to Naha in Okinawa and then on to the tiny island of Ishigaki Jima for the annual ITU Triathlon World Cup.
