Early 1950's 10 Yen coins were minted with crinkled edging,...these are quite rare now, as 10 coins after 1953 were minted with flat outer edges...
I have about 26 of these rare 10 Yen cons now, and feel lucky when one comes up in the change. They're only worth about double their face value, but even then, I can't bear to let one go, and keep the few I come across each year.
