15 years ago I became an "apprentice" of sorts of the Samurai armour maker Ogawa Nobuo. For a bit of research for my (Japanese only) History Blog, I went thru' my armour making notes from all those years ago. Ogawa Se4nsei and I are off to Los Angeles from the 13th to take part in a Samurai exhibition there as part of the Nagoya, Los Angeles Sister City 50th Celebrations.
