According to Doctor Who folk-law, the Doctor's Time and Space machine, the TARDIS, is supposed to feature a Chameleon Circuit, where by the craft is supposed to disguise itself as a local object, in order to blend in with surroundings. Apparently this Chameleon Circuit jammed after landing in 1950's England after disguising itself as a London Police Box. Perhaps if the TARDIS had first landed in Japan, this is what it might have looked like. A Castle shaped phone box in the Okazaki Castle grounds.
