SAMURAI MEET THE LOCALS

One of the great things about this Japan Week event, apart from the opportunity to perform in America, was the chance to see how much of a positive reaction from the locals there was. These old dears got into the spirit by using their umbrellas as swords for a pic together...
This guy has never been to Japan, but came dressed in his best Samurai garb and sword, and was trying his best to communicate in Japanese with the Samurai team. That was the spirit in which most people came to the event. To share an interest in Japan and all things Japanese.
This couple too are self professed Japanophiles, and came dressed to suit the occasion. In their bag, they had some sake, which they were drinking from what they thought was a sake bowl, but was actually a Miso soup bowl,...but they were so interested in Japan and it's history and culture, and that was so pleasing to see!
