TEA AT THE PALACE
Nagoya is celebrating it's famous castles' 400th anniversary by re-creating the Nagoya Castle Palace which was destroyed by fire bombing during WW2. The palace's entrance area will be completed by next year, with the whole palace to be completed over the following few years. Incidentally, Nagoya's new Mayor has suggested the Castle itself, once a National Treasure until destroyed by American incendiary bombs should be re-re built, not in concrete as it was in 1959, but in timber like the original! That I'm looking forward to seeing! Promoting the opening is this special blend of Japanese tea...
